Our 2017 Finca del Marquesado Crianza from the Finca del Marquesado family estate in Rioja, Spain is made in a gentle ecosystem where winemakers are conscience of the native species and the impact they have on the soil, maximizing grape cultivation and expressing the terrier.
This Crianza aged in American oak for a minimum of 13 months with a blend of Tempranillo and Garnacha is a bright red cherry color with the expressive aromas of a floral bouquet and a light taste of vanilla, cedar and nutmeg from the barrel aging. This medium-bodied Spanish red is fruity and smooth.
The flavors from a charcuterie board of aged cheeses and cured meats would go satisfyingly with this versatile red, which can also pair with stews, pastas, salmon dishes, pesto, or even street tacos.
