2021 Sidi Brahim Rosé

Experience the delicate delights of 2021 Sidi Brahim Rosé Beni M’Tir, an exquisite Rosé from the warm, southern side of the Mediterranean in Morocco. Dry and medium-bodied, this Rosé has a pale, salmon-pink hue in the glass. An appealing bouquet expresses fresh red berries and exotic fruits. The palate is fresh and fruity, exhibiting the red fruit notes of Cinsault, which comprises 60% of this blend (40% is made from Grenache Gris, the pink-skinned cousin of Grenache Blanc). Presented in an elegant, engraved bottle, this wine is part of the Sidi Brahim line, created in the 19th century by a French vigneron soldier following a battle by the same name. Sidi Brahim wines are made from hand-picked grapes grown in vineyards at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, where clay and chalky soil combine with a unique North African climate. Although the climate is somewhat hot, due to its high mountains and a cooling effect from winds blowing in from the Atlantic Ocean, this region hosts favorable conditions for producing flavorful wines.
