This 2022 Abbazia Bané D.O.C. Red Blend of two classic Italian varietals of Barbera and Nebbiolo comes from the Monferrato region of Piedmont, Italy, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique geological features and literary history. The dry continental climate creates hot summers prone to drought, opposing cold winters, crafting a particular hydrogeological soil that is perfect for grape growth and cultivation.
These two classic Italian grapes combine to create a ruby red wine with aromas and flavors of berries, violet, plum, and spices, with a long finish.
