3/8" John Guest to 3/8" Female Flare Fitting

This push-fit adapter converts a 3/8" John Guest tube line to a 3/8" female flare connection, molded in durable acetal (polyoxymethylene) plastic that resists mineral scale and won't corrode sitting in a wet water line.

COMPATIBILITY

INSTALLATION

DIY - the push-fit end simply inserts into tubing with no tools required; the flare side should be torqued to the fitting manufacturer's spec to prevent weeping.

PRO TIPS

• Cut the tubing end square and deburr it before inserting - an out-of-round or burred edge is the most common cause of a slow John Guest leak, since the collet can't seat evenly against the O-ring inside. To disconnect, push the collar in first before pulling the tube out; yanking on the tube alone can damage the collet.
