3/8" BSP No-Return (Check) Valve

An in-line check valve, 3/8" male BSP on both ends, installed on the outward flow side of a rotary vane pump to stop water from draining back through the pump when the machine is off. This is a required part on some installations, including La Marzocco (Marzocco part #L032/P.01).

INSTALLATION

A straightforward DIY job, install it in-line on the pump's outward flow fitting, noting the flow-direction arrow on the valve body.

PRO TIPS

• Install it with the flow arrow pointing away from the pump, in the direction of water travel, installed backwards, it will block flow entirely and the pump will fight a dead-headed line.
• If your machine is a CMA build (Astoria, Bravo, Formula, Rio, Wega) rather than La Marzocco, grab W_225 or AS_232 instead, this exact valve isn't the correct cross-reference for that hydraulic layout.
