The brand won multiple awards on launch including gold at the SIP International Consumer Spirits Competition.
At 14 months, the 818 Añejo sits near the minimum añejo aging threshold (12 months required by regulation) but the dual maturation — American oak followed by wine barrel finish — adds complexity typical of longer-aged expressions. The wine barrel finish contributes light red fruit and tannin notes to the vanilla and caramel profile from the American oak primary aging.
