Neat

Appearance: Brightly golden with elasticity at its edges, tumbling down into itself delightfully.  Additional turbulence brought by spins of the wrist offer swirling vortexes of fat and bubbles showing both molten sugar syrup and steaming hot brown butter.  This bourbon shows intense concentration.

Nose: Exotic spices smolder ethereally before being overtaken with a slow, syrupy sensation in your olfactory.  The enticing veneer of sweet cream and an open air spice market comes through as well.  Each sip finishes with further aromas of praline, bitter chocolate nibs, and dry, late summer hay.

Palate: Richly textured in a myriad of layers.  Reminiscent of a dried apricot dipped in sweet milk chocolate mixed with a confit of early summer strawberries, it is highly nuanced.

Finish: The warming sensation across your tongue is finely tuned, evoking the experience of Sichuan cuisine.  The strong first impression dissipates into a pleasant warming with further sips belying the 132.84 proof heat.

Old fashioned soda fountain-style bittersweet chocolate ice cream sundae topped with crunchy, dried cherry granola topping leads to rich apricot jam across the back of your teeth.  Crushed salt-slicked minerals amid long stewed orange marmalade appear coating the tongue.  Velvety, the thick and enduring finish makes you take notice and demands further sips.
