• A barrel-aged twist on Reisetbauer Blue Gin produced by Hans Reisetbauer in Axberg, Austria • Distilled from 100% organic, estate-grown Mulan winter wheat • Triple-distilled in a Christian Carl copper pot still • 27 botanicals sourced from 14 countries featuring juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, angelica root, coriander seed, turmeric, cardamom, cinnamon, licorice root, and hops are incorporated via maceration between the second and third distillation • Aged for 5 years in Austrian oak casks • A medley of baking spice notes present green cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg on the nose; the palate is bold and equally confectionary with spicy juniper, white pepper, orange peel, and vanilla • 52% ABV Hans Reisetbauer took his handcrafted, small-batch Blue Gin and aged it for 5 years in Austrian oak casks, resulting in a distillate with round sweetness, complex mouthfeel, and a flavor reminiscent of spiced eggnog. Higher in proof than Reisetbauer Blue Gin, the oak aging tempers the extra bite, making for an incredible gin just as enjoyable to sip as it is to mix into cocktails.
