Terms and conditions
- Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters(BTCR) GIFT CARD is issued to be redeemed at BTCR App only.
- BTCR GIFT CARD will be valid for 1-year to redeem from date of purchase.
- The amount in BTCR can be redeemed on all types of orders on BTCR app only.
- The amount cannot be taken out/transferred from BTCR Wallet.
- The amount can be used on multiple transactions on BTCR app only.
- No returns and no refunds on gift cards, e-gift cards and gift vouchers.
- A GIFT CARD can be redeemed multiple times.
- No cash payment will be made by the company for the Gift card either in part or in full nor exchanged.
- In case the value of the service exceeds the value of the Gift card, the difference must be paid by other available payment modes.
- No cancellation and No refund money are allowed on the issued Gift card.
- Any unspent amount available in the Gift Card after the card expires shall stand forfeited.
- BTCR does not accept any responsibility if the customer loses/misplaces the gift card. No duplicate card will be issued either.
- E-Gift Cards are normally delivered instantly. But sometimes due to system issues, the delivery can be delayed up-to 24 - 48 hours. For enquiries or complaints email at getcoffee@bluetokaicoffee.com.
Steps to Redeem
How to redeem the card for a dine-in / pick-up order at a café?
- Download the Blue Tokai app here.
- Register using your phone number.
- Tap the Wallet icon at the bottom of the screen and select "Redeem a Gift Card."
- Enter your Gift Card Number and PIN—the amount will be added to your wallet.
- Visit a Blue Tokai café, and place your order through the app by clicking on the “Cafés” icon in the menu.
- At checkout, select "BTC Wallet" to pay using your gift card balance.
How to redeem the card to place a delivery order from the roastery?
On the App:
- Download the Blue Tokai app here and register using your phone number.
- Tap the Wallet icon at the bottom of the screen and select "Redeem a Gift Card."
- Enter your Gift Card Number and PIN—the amount will be added to your wallet.
- Click on the “Shop” icon in the menu, and add the desired products to your cart.
- At checkout, select "BTC Wallet" to pay using your gift card balance and complete your order.
Expiry
- One year from date of purchase.
Important note on Gift Card invoices
Gift Cards are a convenient prepaid balance that can be used for future purchases on our App.
Since a Gift Card is not a product or service by itself, a GST tax invoice is not issued at the time of Gift Card purchase or top-up. It simply represents value that can be redeemed later.
GST, wherever applicable, will be charged and invoiced only when the Gift Card is used to buy actual products or services from our App.
For your records, we will provide an order/payment confirmation for the Gift Card purchase. Please note that this confirmation is not a GST tax invoice and cannot be used to claim input tax credit.
