Mead is an authentic Irish drink. It was originally made by monks centuries ago with fermented honey and water for ancient Celtics. It made it's way into royal banquets and the courts of the Four Kings of Ireland. No meal was complete without mead.

Bunratty Meade uses white wine, honey, and herbs for their special concoction; and their spelling difference is reserved just for them. The white wine gives it a good balanced level of dryness with a semi-sweet finish. The best way to enjoy this is served chilled and over ice.
