Cazcanes has become one of the most respected names in additive-free tequila, and the man behind it is a genuine veteran: Master Distiller Francisco "Don Chico" Jiménez, with 39 years of tequila-making experience, working at NOM 1614 in Amatitán in the lowland Tequila Valley. The No. 7 Reposado starts from 100% organic Blue Weber agave cooked in low-pressure autoclaves over a 24-hour cycle, double distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils, using natural volcanic spring water from Navichi Springs for cooking and proofing — additive-free, confirmed by Tequila Matchmaker.
