History
Chamucos Extra Anejo Tequila is handcrafted with ultra-premium tequila for connoisseurs, representing a true expression of amazing purity, aroma, and flavor. This exceptional spirit is crafted through a meticulous small-batch production process using premium 100% blue agave grown in the rich soils of Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico. Our agave undergoes a slow cooking process in specially designed ovens at low temperatures for 30 hours, followed by a 24-hour cooling period to enhance its natural sweetness. The liquids are then naturally fermented with our proprietary yeast before being double-distilled in state-of-the-art stainless steel Alembic stills to achieve a refined taste. Committed to sustainability, our production is eco-friendly, with no herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers used in our agave fields. Additionally, our packaging—comprising cartons, bottle boxes, labels, and most point-of-sale materials—is crafted from recycled materials, and the artisanal bottle itself is made from recycled glass, reflecting our dedication to environmental responsibility.
