The Story Behind Subcutaneous S’mores™

S’mores have always been one of my favorite campfire treats because every bite is made up of delicious layers. As a firefighter and MedEvac Flight Paramedic, those layers reminded me of the layers of skin we studied throughout our medical training—including the subcutaneous layer.

That connection inspired the name Subcutaneous S’mores™.

My daughter, Lily, helped bring this coffee to life by designing the custom bag artwork and hand-drawing the smiling s’mores character.

It remains one of my favorite Firehouse Coffee bags because it combines our family’s creativity with a meaningful tribute to the healthcare professionals who care for others.
