This coffee earned exclamation points on our cupping forms! We found a vibrant, sugary-sweet cup bursting with nectarine, dulce de leche, gardenia, brown sugar, milk chocolate, and banana smoothie notes.
Jorge Osorio and his son grow coffee on El Paraiso in Huila, Colombia, where they’ve shifted their focus from volume to quality. This lot was picked at peak ripeness, then underwent a 30-hour underwater fermentation followed by slow drying in thin layers on parabolic beds. The result is a bright, complex, and exceptionally sweet coffee.
