This Reposado Tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in the Highlands of Jalisco (Los Altos) and is known as a “Single Estate” tequila, meaning the entire process from agave to bottle takes place at Casa San Matías distillery (NOM 1103).
It is aged 6–8 months in carefully selected oak barrels, either American or Canadian, which gives it a smooth, balanced flavor. Bottled in a 750mL bottle with 40% ABV (80 proof), it has fresh aromas of agave nectar, thyme, green grass, cedar, vanilla, and almond or dry fruits, while the taste is rich with earthy, herbal, vanilla, and almond notes, along with a hint of caramel and toasted flavors. Its color ranges from pale bronze to light amber or golden yellow, and it is crafted using traditional methods with no additives.
This award-winning tequila, recognized as the World’s Best Tequila (2021) and a Gold medalist at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is versatile and can be enjoyed neat, chilled, or in cocktails like Margaritas and Palomas. It comes at a mid-range price, typically $25–$35 USD depending on location and retailer.
