Rounding off their Experimental Series is Corner 53's Buttered Rum, combining many of ourtheir favourite things. They fat wash Dark Carribbean Rum with Butter, (basically meaning they chuck 15 kilos of melted butter into the rum, vigourously mix it about, let it set then skim it off) before steeping it with Cacao Nibs, Orange Peel, Bourbon Vanilla and Dark Muscavado, finally blending in some of their Cold Brew Coffee.
Soft, smooth with a delightful creaminess to the texture, full of flavours of dark espresso and chocolate orange. Ideal to sip neat, with ginger beer or in an Espresso Martini.
