  • Distillation Process: Unlike most traditional tequilas, Corzo undergoes a triple-distillation cycle over a 56-hour period. The producers utilize an extensive "heart-of-hearts" cutting process, extracting only the ultra-pure center cuts. This meticulous method requires roughly twice the amount of blue agave typically used by other standard brands.
  • Double-Aging Technique: It is matured using a distinctive process that inserts a third distillation between two separate oak barrel aging windows. This balances agave flavor with barrel extraction, resting the spirit in both American white oak and French oak barrels.
  • Origin: Produced at Tequila Cazadores De Arandas (NOM 1487) in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, the brand operates as part of the Bacardi premium spirits portfolio.
Tasting Profile
  • Appearance: Radiant, golden amber hue with warm reflections.
  • Aroma: Creamy vanilla custard, baked pears, honey, and subtle floral tones accompanied by a warm oak backdrop.
  • Palate: Velvety and rich with central notes of toasted vanilla, dark chocolate, toffee, and warm honey.
  • Finish: Extremely smooth, long, and elegant, ending with a sophisticated, light wisp of smoke and lingering baking spice.
  • Alcohol by Volume (ABV): 40% (80 Proof).
Best Serving Methods
  • Neat or On the Rocks: Due to its extensive aging and triple-distillation refinement, it is best enjoyed as a slow-sipping spirit to fully appreciate its complex layers.
  • Premium Cocktails: It can be used to elevate spirit-forward drinks like a classic Añejo Old Fashioned, where its oaky sweetness complements the bitters
