Grinder, Bean Hopper and Bypass Doser

The ESAM 6620 is equipped with a professional grade conical burr grinder; 13 adjustments let you fine-tune your grind to achieve the desired results. The grinder is outfitted with noise-reduction technology to ensure quiet, low-pitch operation. An integrated 8.8-oz hopper lets you safely store whole bean coffee until you’re ready to brew. There’s also a bypass doser that will let you skip the grinding process entirely and brew with pre-ground coffee, if you prefer.

This model features one-touch functionality for quick and easy drink preparation. Simply select the desired beverage; the ESAM 6620 will grind, tamp, brew, steam and froth as necessary and dispense the finished drink directly into your cup.

Steaming and Frothing – Patented Single-Touch System

The Delonghi Gran Dama ESAM 6620 has a patented single-touch cappuccino, latte and macchiato system. It features a detachable carafe that can be stored in the refrigerator when not it use. When you’re ready to prepare a milk-based drink, simply slide the carafe into place and make the appropriate beverage selection. The Gran Dama ESAM 6620 will automatically steam or froth the milk and dispense it directly into your cup.

Water Features

This super-automatic espresso machine comes with a removable 1.8-liter water reservoir. A dedicated spout lets you dispense hot water on demand for tea, soup or hot chocolate.

Adjustable Coffee Spout and Drip Tray

For maximum flexibility, the Gran Dama ESAM 6620 features an adjustable coffee spout and drip tray that will allow you to accommodate a wide range of cups and mugs. The height-adjustable coffee dispenser can be raised or lowered as needed to fit up to 12-ounce cups. The drip tray features a unique stand that can be flipped up to accommodate latte cups.

Additional Features

The all-inclusive Gran Dama ESAM 6620 has an integrated cup warmer to let you pre-heat cups prior to brewing. To help you keep the machine in optimal working condition, the ESAM 6620 has automatic decalcification indicator lights that will alert you when it is time to descale the machine.
