Locally foraged dune pepper. Alder catkins (flower clusters) dehydrated for easy use and to preserve flavour.
Adds pepper, spice, pine, wintergreen aromatics and flavour. Great for late additions to beer like IPA, saison, witbier, pale ale, spruce beer, gruit, or delicately spiced beer. Unique, versatile and pairs well with new age hops, Saaz breeds, coriander, lemon or orange flavours.
Also great in forest teas, kombucha and spicing dishes. Especially good with game birds, venison or poultry.
