The E61 Precision Shower Screen is an essential component for E61 group machines. With its even water distribution, it improves extraction, reduces channeling, and produces a fuller and rounder taste in your cup. Every espresso machine requires this key addition.
Coated vs. Non-Coated
The precision shower screen is coated with a protective nanotech layer that effectively removes coffee oil and residue, simplifying the cleaning process. However, over time, this coating may deteriorate during back flushing with detergents like FCL500. To avoid this, it is recommended to periodically replace the screen with a standard one during routine maintenance.
