Likely the single most common group head gasket in the espresso industry. This 8mm Faema-pattern gasket is used across dozens of Brasilia, Bravo, ECM, Faema, Futurmat, Gaggia (Espagna/Italcrem), Grimac, La Pavoni, Sorrento (ECM), Vibiemme (VBM), and VFA models built on the E61 group standard.

INSTALLATION

DIY-friendly for most, but E61 group gaskets can be a tight press, a group gasket removal tool or flat-blade pick makes the job much easier.

PRO TIPS

• If your portafilter engages too far to the right of the correct six o'clock lock-up position and you don't want to replace worn portafilters, step up to the thicker F_60 9mm gasket instead of this one, it compensates for that wear.
• SEMI-COMMERCIAL MODEL USERS BEWARE: Expobar, ECM Giotto, Isomac, and Quick Mill machines claim to use a true E61 group, and mostly they do, but their group heads run slightly tight on inside diameter for this gasket. For those machines, we recommend the W_556A instead.
