Overflowing with spice, oaky intensity and caramelized fruit, this single malt whisky is the pride and joy of our Heritage Collection. Aged entirely in first-fill American oak casks over 18 long years for a rare intensity, it is the ultimate reflection of our traditional Speyside craft. By using only first-fill casks (which have not previously been filled with Scotch whisky), we enhance our spirit with the wood's maximum flavors of vanilla, oak and toffee. Closely watched over the years by our Master Distiller, this complex, elegant expression is bottled only when it achieves its peak. It seems single malt fans and experts all appreciate the craft which makes our 18 Year Old so special.
Aroma: Toasted oak with deep notes of treacle toffee and caramelized autumn fruits.
Taste: Baked spiced apple and vanilla smoked raisins. Rich, smooth and utterly satisfying.
Finish: The sweetness and spice fade naturally leaving a light cloud of smoke And toasted oak. A finish which is elegant and wonderfully long.
