To honor the memory of his mother, the head distiller at Glendalough created a rose-petal gin. The gin is made with carefully-tended flowers from Rose's garden, as well as wild roses and plants from the mountains around the distillery. The gin is then further infused with even more roses to deepen the flavors and give it its lovely pink hue. The nose of the gin is very aromatic, with soft juniper notes and a perfumed freshness of rose. The taste is gentle and sweet, with distinct rose petals, bright berries, citrus, and a nectar sweetness. The finish is long and floral, with lingering rose petals.
