Only then is it transferred to hand-selected sherry casks that have taken six years to prepare - producing the fruity, complex flavours that can only be the result of an unhurried process. This whisky is perfect after dinner or, frankly, anytime.
Nose: Dark red berries, caramel, toffee, vanilla and a hint of raisins and orange peel.
Palate: Christmas cake, honey, and rich fruit. Perfectly balanced, amazingly full bodied and thick.
Finish: Dry wood, oloroso sherry notes and very gentle cinnamon.
