Watanabe Sake Brewery is located in central Japan in a beautiful small town called Hida-Furukawa, located in Gifu Prefrecture. Beautiful label designed by Shuzo head, Watanabe-san.
"Junmai" indicates that the Sake is brewed with only rice, water, yeast, and koji. It is brewed with rice milled down to 50% of its original size, with no added distilled aclohol. It comes in 720mL and 180mL bottle sizes.
This award-winning Sake is soft and fruity yet dry with light-to-medium body. It has aromas of pear custard, citrus, and almond. Its sweet undertones prove irresistible even to those who claim they do not drink very much. Light bodied. Exotic tropic fruit with passionfruit, melon, and banana. Light but attractive earthiness in the background. Lanolin smoothness to the flow across the palette.
