La Gritona Reposado is a boutique additive-free tequila crafted from mature Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. Cooked in traditional brick ovens for 24 hours, rested another 24, naturally fermented in open vats, and double-distilled, it’s then rested six to eight months in reused American whiskey barrels to soften without overpowering the agave’s natural profile. Produced by master tequilera Melly Barajas and her all-female team at NOM 1533, this 50 ml miniature captures the essence of one of Mexico’s most authentic artisanal tequilas.

Tasting Notes:
Bright roasted agave aroma with green herbs, citrus zest, and light oak. On the palate, it’s clean, earthy, and slightly sweet with a smooth, dry finish and whispers of vanilla and white pepper.
