Towiemore Distillery began life in 1898 near Dufftown in what is now known as Speyside.
Founder Peter Dawson owned a number of distilleries throughout his life and Towiemore was his heart and soul. Towiemore was enjoyed by Kings and captured the whisky boom using technology and whisky know-how to become a consistent top ranking pure malt whisky in Scotland. Towiemore was sadly Lost in 1931 following competitor sabotage and a global collapse in Scotch Whisky. Until now.
