Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 is a limited annual release of the distillery's wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon — a blend of 12- and 13-year-old barrels given extended maturation in the natural limestone cellar beneath Star Hill Farm, bottled at 119.3 proof.

The Cellar Aged program finishes mature Maker's Mark in the below-ground limestone cellar in Loretto, Kentucky, where stable, cooler temperatures slow spirit-wood interaction and develop additional complexity that the standard above-ground rick houses cannot replicate. The 2024 edition draws on unusually old stock for Maker's — 12 and 13 years — producing one of the deepest expressions in the lineup.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Caramelized sugar, citrus, and warm baking spice
  • Palate: Rich and balanced — caramel, citrus, coconut, and spice over the wheated foundation
  • Finish: Long and smooth
