Kurayoshi Distillery is located in the foothills of Mt. Daisen. Here there is an abundance of fine water that is indispensable for whisky distilling. The origin of the word Kurayoshi means "Life is good". This expression is made from carefully-chosen peated malt, distilled in the natural environment of Tottori and aged in selected casks. This whisky evokes a mellow, fruity sweetness, with a smoky, peaty finish. This masterpiece, carefully crafted with heart and passion, is cut to proof from the high-quality natural spring water from Mt. Daisen.
Nose: Fresh toasty malted cereal aromas supported by swirls of smoke and a touch of vanilla oak.
Palate: Toasty oak, brown sugar, creamy vanilla and orchard fruit.
Finish: Smoke and apple linger
