The Mazzer Kony S Electronic is built for the cafe that pulls shots all day. Its 63mm conical burrs turn at 500 RPM on 60Hz power, slowly enough that the grounds leaving the chute stay cool and your dial-in holds through a morning rush instead of drifting on you.
A double fan cooling system moves heat away from the grinding chamber, and the Grind Flow Control outlet insert with its through-flow wire damper knocks down static so grounds land in the basket rather than on the counter. Adjustment is stepless and micrometrical, and the Memory Track collar means you can note where a coffee lives and come back to it. Grinding fires on demand from the portafilter itself, and the adjustable holder lets you dose hands free.
This is a mid-size body doing high-volume work, which suits busy cafes, restaurants and mobile carts, particularly if you pull dark or oily roasts that give flat burrs trouble. If you would rather the grinder weigh each dose than time it, the Kony Sg is the same platform with a built-in scale.
