The Mazzer Major V doser grinds and holds ground coffee ready, so your barista reaches for a dose instead of waiting on the grinder. At 4.7 seconds for a 17 gram dose, it keeps pace through a morning rush without falling behind the machine.
Eighty-three millimetre flat steel burrs turn at 1600 RPM on 60 Hz power, driven by a 650 watt motor in an aluminum die cast body. Grind adjustment is stepless and micrometrical, with a memory track index so you can return to a setting you liked. The doser holds 280 grams and dispenses 5.5 to 8 grams on the lever, onto a fixed aluminum tamper built into the body. The grinding chamber opens for cleaning without losing your setting. The doser refills itself after every 12 doses and stops when it is full.
This is the grinder for a cafe or restaurant running espresso at medium to high volume on a doser workflow. If you dose to weight for every shot, the Major V Electronic is the better fit. If you want conical burrs running slower and cooler, the Kony S and Robur S sit above it. For lower volume, look at the Super Jolly.
