Michter's 20 Year Bourbon 2016 is created with tradition in mind at the Michter's Distillery in Kentucky, Louisville. It was crafted in pursuit of Michter's goal of producing the greatest American whiskey. The roots of Michter's trace back to the 18th century when Swiss Mennonite farmer John Shenk settled near Pennsylvania's Blue Mountain Valley. With an abundance of harvested grains, Shenk began distilling whiskey, establishing what would become the United States' first distilling company. Michter's 20 Year Bourbon is a testament to this legacy, showcasing a meticulous process that involves aging in custom barrels made from 24-month air-dried wood, which adds unique flavors.
