Commercial Description:
This is a single pot still “Very Rare” release from Irish distillery Midleton. It has initially been matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished for 2 years in Irish oak and bottled at cask strength. This is a Non Age Statement (NAS) whisky but the component whiskies in are between 15 and 28 years old.

Nose: Very well balanced and well integrated alcohol. Deep vanilla notes. Soft notes of fruit drops with a dusting of icing sugar. So delicate, so complex and delightful.
Taste: Full bodied and then some. Firing on all cylinders. A warm embrace of orchard fruits, creamy vanilla and mild herbal notes.
Finish: Long finish. Greener and more herbal now. Just as sweet, if not more so. Vanilla. Tropical fruits as well now. Cloves, white pepper and nutmeg.
