An after-market 15° ergonomic portafilter body for Nuova Simonelli commercial machines, no Simonelli logo on the bottom, and the basket shape is slightly different from OEM, but it fits and pours well. Comes complete with spring, basket, and spout.

INSTALLATION

Ships unassembled, expect to assemble spring, basket, and spout yourself, and a bench vice may be needed to get the spout aligned correctly.

PRO TIPS

• The included 12g basket is shaped close to the older flat, square-walled Simonelli baskets, if your shots are running fast with a modern conical NS basket, this one may actually extract more predictably.
• If the spout won't seat straight by hand, clamp the portafilter body in a bench vice and press the spout in rather than forcing it with pliers, which will mar the finish.
