This bourbon was aged at Buffalo Trace Distillery in charred new oak barrels from Spanish Oak. Spanish Oak is less dense and has a tighter grain than its American sibling, creating whiskey with flavors of rich vanilla, dark stone fruit, and the forests of northern Spain.
These trees were made into staves that were seasoned outdoors before becoming barrels that aged this unique whiskey. Enjoy this bourbon that honors Spanish Oak, and raise a glass to its storied journey from forest, barrel, to bourbon.
