Made by the Old Elk Distillery in Fort Collins, CO, with Master Distiller Greg Metze at the helm, this bourbon is very unusual for using a high percentage of malted barley in the mash bill. The whiskey is a blend of a few different ages, ranging from 2.8-8.2 years in the cask, giving it a pleasant youthful heat supported by the structure that only more age can bring.
