Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2018 Release was drawn from a selection of 12-year-old barrels sourced from different warehouses and floors, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship that the Old Forester brand is known for. A total of 120 barrels were used, with 93 of those barrels maturing together on the 3rd floor of Warehouse J, while the remaining 27 barrels were aged on the 3rd floor of Warehouse I, both located on the Northwest side. This bourbon was barreled on June 9, 2006, and is notable for being the first Birthday Bourbon vintage to be bottled at the newly established Old Forester Distilling Co. on Louisville’s Historic Whiskey Row. Presented at a robust 101 Proof, it embodies the rich heritage and dedication to quality that Old Forester has maintained throughout its history.
