Patrón Cristalino Añejo is an añejo tequila aged in oak then charcoal-filtered to crystal clarity — 100% Weber Blue Agave from Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, matured in oak barrels for the vanilla, honey, and toasted oak complexity of an añejo, then filtered to remove the color while retaining the barrel-developed flavor.

Cristalino is the process of charcoal-filtering an aged tequila after maturation — stripping the amber color and some of the heavier tannins while preserving the vanilla, caramel, and fruit character the oak developed. The result is a tequila with the depth and complexity of an añejo at the visual clarity of a blanco. Patrón's Cristalino balances bold agave against citrus and fruit notes for a crisp, clean finish that works neat or in a sophisticated cocktail.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a cristalino tequila?

An añejo charcoal-filtered after aging to remove the color while retaining the vanilla, caramel, and fruit character the oak developed — a clear tequila with the complexity of an aged expression and a lighter, smoother texture.

How should it be served?

Neat or over a large ice cube to appreciate the oak-aged complexity, or in a premium cocktail where the clarity is a visual feature.
