Venezuelan Solera Rum | 40% ABV (80 Proof) | 750 mL
Santa Teresa 1796 is crafted using a triple-aging solera method at Hacienda Santa Teresa, Venezuela’s oldest distillery established in 1796. The process blends rums aged separately (4–35 years from light, heavy, and pot stills), cascaded through a four-tier solera system, and finished in French Limousin oak vats. Each bottle contains trace amounts of the original “Ron Madre” from 1992. The result is smooth, balanced, and remarkably consistent in flavor.
Nose: Caramel, honey, dark chocolate, oak, coffee, subtle spice
Palate: Vanilla, butterscotch, dried fruits, tobacco, plantain, molasses
Finish: Medium-body, with lingering oak, spice, and nutty richness
