The Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, thought of by many connoisseur as a region of its own. The founding family is still in charge of all aspects of the distillery, now in their fifth generation, and they are one of the few distilleries in Scotland who still proudly hand-make each batch and control every step of the process on-site. Hazelburn is the unpeated expression of their line, and is a cult favorite around the world. The nose is reach with stewed fall fruits and honey, opening up to citrus zest and vanilla on the palate. The finish is creamy and rich, with notes of chocolate.
