Carl T. Single Barrel Bourbons starts with both 3-grain and 4-grain mash bills (100% sweet mash fermentation) and distilled in Starlight's copper pot stills. These straight bourbon whiskeys are then aged for a minimum of 4 years in the Rickhouses that are located on the grounds of the Carl T. Huber estate
This exceptional bourbon begins with the same robust foundation, meticulously aged and then finished in port barrels, imparting notes of dried fruits, chocolate, and spice.
Nose: Rich and complex with hints of spicy chocolate.
Palate: Notes of dried fruits, chocolate from the nose, and plum, raspberry jam, strawberries on the back palate.
Finish: Long finish with a balance of fruit, spice, and oak notes.
