• Cask strength Kentucky straight rye whiskey distilled, aged, blended, and bottled for High N’ Wicked • Produced at New Riff Distilling in Newport, Kentucky • Sour mash fermented from a mash bill of 91% rye, 9% malted barley • Distilled in a Vendome copper column still and doubler • Aged minimum 5 years in Independent Stave Company medium toast, char #4 American oak barrels • Cherries and citrus evolve into rich apple pie, caramel, spring herbs and butterscotch pudding on the nose; the palate offers structured baking spice, fresh pear, and honey with lingering notes of leather and apricot • Non-chill filtered; bottled at cask strength (ABV will vary batch to batch) Bottled in biannual, limited releases, this rye may be unflinching in its character, but is nevertheless a product of careful crafting and rigorous blind tasting, resulting in fantastic structure and a unique marque from both High N’ Wicked and its partner distillery.
