Switchgrass is beyond proud to present this new category of whiskey in their portfolio. After years of distilling and packing away barrels, they are happy to say, this is NOT a limited release, but is a new standard in their family of spirits. This 100 proof spirit was sweet mashed, batched distilled, and follows the grain bill Switchgrass normally uses for their popular bourbon with 63% corn, 25% wheat, and 12% malted barley. This new Bottled-In-Bond bourbon was aged for at least four years in Missouri white oak barrels. The extended time in the barrel creates a nose of citrus and vanilla along with the traditional tasting notes of warm honey, and cornbread. This smooth sipper is sure to be a new favorite for drinking straight or elevating your favorite cocktail.
Each bottle meets the 1897 Congressional regulation for Bottled-In-Bond spirits and has an individually numbered strap reminiscent of the traditional designs originally used to designate this type of spirit.
