Talisker SMWS 14.17 Island single malt Scotch whisky. Single refill bourbon hogshead yielding 202 bottles from the Skye distillery. Distilled 1989, bottled 2009 by SMWS.
Talisker Distillery was established at Carbost on the Isle of Skye off the west coast of Scotland in 1830. Soaking up its own reflection from Loch Harport one day yet fending off North Atlantic gales the next. Talisker is a Scottish Islands malt whisky distillery equipped with five stills and has retained its traditional five round wooden worm tubs. Visitors are welcome at the distillery visitor centre where tours of Talisker Distillery are available.
