Bright red in color, this wine opens with expressive aromas of ripe red fruit, led by notes of fresh cherry. Subtle spice nuances and a delicate hint of cocoa add complexity to the bouquet.

On the palate, the vibrant fruit character carries through, echoing the cherry-driven aromas found on the nose. Hints of licorice provide depth and intrigue, while the finish is long, smooth, and persistent, leaving a lasting impression of fruit and spice.

About the Wine

Tinazzi makes excellent Veronese wines; which means they are masters at Amarone, Valpolicella and the like. This “family selection” is made from dried grapes, as is the tradition with Amarone, but here it’s made into a dry wine, and the alcohol isn’t as lofty as with Amarone. So it’s like baby Amarone, made 100% from Corvina, the best grape of the region.

Ca’ de’ Rocchi wines are made using native yeasts, naturally present on the grape skins, which give a unique character to the wines, enhancing the authentic expression of the terroir and adapting each year to the specificities of the harvest. Often defined as “international”, the Ca’de’ Rocchi line is suited to palates less inclined to the intense and persistent notes of traditional Valpolicella wines.
