Wega/VBM Portafilter Body

A portafilter body threaded for an M12 metric handle, with wings positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock, 6.3 mm thick. It accepts any standard basket and uses a 3/8" thread for the spout, a near-universal fit across E61-style groups.

INSTALLATION

A moderate DIY task, the handle threads straight into the M12 bore, but confirm your existing basket seats correctly before finishing assembly.

PRO TIPS

• Wing thickness and position matter more than they look like they should, at 6.3 mm and mounted at 3/9 o'clock, this body won't drop into a group designed for thinner or differently-angled ears, so match your existing portafilter's wing geometry, not just the brand name, before ordering.
