Woody Creek Bourbon

When Woody Creek Distillers was founded, their mission was simple: To pour everything they had into everything they made. They set out to make nothing but the finest craft spirits, each with a unique taste and character that was true to the origins of that spirit. It’s a standard they continue to hold themselves to every day. Neutral grain spirits are never used - nor do they blend with base spirits from other distillers. The distillery grows and harvests many of their own ingredients, like the Rio Grande potatoes for premium vodka. Grains are sourced from trusted Colorado farms, like the rye in the 100% rye mash whiskey. For the finishing touch, they distill every spirit they make in custom CARL stills – a shining copper example of engineering and art that turns the Earth’s freshest ingredients into the world’s most treasured spirits.

Our latest addition to the Woody Creek family of spirits is the much-anticipated Colorado Bourbon. Aged a minimum of four years in deeply charred new American oak, with just enough spice to get your attention, with hints of cinnamon, caramel, and honey in the background. Settle in to its complex personality and satisfyingly long finish, and you’ll agree that it was certainly worth the wait.

Nose: Just enough spice to get your attention - malt teasers, walnuts and cola.

Palate: Hints of cinnamon, white pepper, caramel and honey. 

Finish: Long and luxurious with the pepper carrying through.
