History
Xicaru Anejo Mezcal is a unique tequila crafted with tradition in mind. This spirit is named Xicaru, which is the Zapotec word for beautiful. It was created with heritage and tradition to commemorate Fernando Santibanez’s grandmother, whose recipe was used to reproduce this fine spirit. The process begins in Matatlan, Oaxaca, where it is crafted in small batches. Xicaru Anejo Mezcal is produced from hand-picked 100% Blue agave, which is meticulously grown in Mexico. The pineapples, the heart of the plant, are cooked in a conical oven to enhance their flavors and then double distilled. This careful process culminates in a maturation period of twelve months in American oak barrels, allowing the mezcal to develop its rich character and depth that is celebrated by mezcal enthusiasts around the world.

Please drink responsibly, you must be at least 21 years of age to drink alcoholic beverages.
