Inspired by the Fire Engine That Started It All

Long before Firehouse Coffee was founded, I spent countless calls riding on Casper, the beloved Mack fire engine at Fleetwood Fire Company. Around town, everyone knew Casper by the cartoon ghost painted on the front. That old Mack wasn’t simply another fire truck—it was part of the community and a source of pride for generations of firefighters.

Like every engine, Casper depended on a skilled firefighter working the pump panel. While crews stretched hose lines and advanced into the fire, Dennis, our pump operator, controlled the heart of the operation—managing water pressure, opening supply lines, and making sure firefighters always had the water they needed.

It wasn’t the loudest job on the fireground, but it was one of the most important. Those memories later inspired Pumper Monkey™ Bananas Foster Coffee.

Freshly roasted in small batches using premium 100% Arabica coffee beans, this smooth medium roast captures the comforting flavors of classic Bananas Foster.
