Winemaker Notes
The nose is aromatic and offers a fine concentration/power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of toasted, fresh wild blackberry, fresh cassis and more slightly fresh/crunchy small red fruits associated with small touches of violet, rose as well as hints of sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a good definition, a fine juicy/acidulous frame, tension, freshness as well as precision. on the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy strawberry, fleshy cherry and more slightly fleshy/juicy cassis associated with fine hints of flowers as well as very discreet hints of spices, toasted and an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper (in the background). Good length.
